Job Details

At Nottingham City Homes Registered Provider (NCH RP), we are seeking four new Board Members to help guide us through one of the most significant transitions in our organisation’s history.

NCH RP is at the heart of Nottingham’s homelessness response, aiming to provide quality and affordable rented housing in Nottingham and support Nottingham City Council to deliver its statutory homelessness duties through the provision of temporary accommodation for families.

This is a pivotal time for NCH RP. Working in partnership with Nottingham City Council, we are delivering a managed and responsible exit from direct housing provision, while ensuring no loss of essential housing services in the city. Our current Business Plan sets a roadmap for transition over the next four years, focused on asset disposal, financial sustainability, and protecting temporary accommodation capacity through commissioned services.

We are looking for Board Members to join a committed Board overseeing a time-limited, yet hugely important mission, ensuring our customers are not left behind as the housing landscape in Nottingham evolves. For these roles we are seeking Board Members with experience gained in the social housing sector who can offer change management skills, with strategic and operational experience in either: finance, housing management, homelessness, or asset management, along with the ability to provide expert guidance and compassionate leadership through this period of change.

This is not just a Board role; it’s a chance to make a tangible difference in people’s lives while shaping the legacy of a housing provider that has served Nottingham with integrity and care.

If you’re passionate about social impact, experienced in navigating complexity, and driven by resilience and community, this is your opportunity to make a lasting contribution and be part of a Board that is steering through transformation and help shape what comes next.
