Why B-Corp Matters

Underlining the company’s commitment to use business as a force for good, certification aligns with the company’s belief that its operations should bring benefit not just to shareholders, but all stakeholders: a belief shared by many of the public sector, non-profit and charitable organisations CT supports.

Being a B Corp means Campbell Tickell:

Demonstrates a high social and environmental performance by achieving a B Impact Assessment score of 80 or above and passing our risk review.
Makes a legal commitment to change our corporate governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders
Exhibits transparency by allowing information about their performance measured against B Lab’s standards to be publicly available on their B Corp profile on B Lab’s website.

How we scored

Assessment of B Corp applications is undertaken by the B Lab organisation. To achieve certification, a company must score a minimum verified score of 80 points by answering 161 questions. This sets how we operate in five categories: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers.

The median score for businesses completing the B impact assessment is 50.9.

Campbell Tickell scored 107.5 in our first attempt in 2023.
