Liz joined Campbell Tickell in 2015 and was promoted to Senior Consultant in 2017.

Liz is a senior manager and business development professional with many years’ experience in the supported housing and social care sector. This includes experience of working within a national care and support organisation and as a commissioner of supported housing and independent living services for four London local authorities where she developed commissioning strategies for older people, people with mental health and learning disabilities as well as socially excluded groups and rough sleepers.

She is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development and combines her knowledge of HR good practice with excellent analytical skills and a practical approach to problem solving, based on 15 years’ experience in service delivery roles. Liz also holds a Diploma in Fundraising from the Institute of Fundraising and previously spent five years as the lead on strategic growth for two housing organisations where she secured significant growth through fundraising and securing public sector contracts. She has most recently been involved in supporting organisations with strategic planning and business development and brings on the ground experience as well as sound knowledge of the wider policy frameworks impacting on supported housing, independent living and the wider housing and charity sectors. Her assignments include, supporting registered providers to review their supported housing and agency management arrangements, developing housing options appraisals, supporting charities to develop their strategic positioning, business plans and fundraising strategies.

Liz has carried out the following projects:-

• Writing an Innovation and Good Practice publication on Remodelling Supported Housing
• Developing the growth strategy for a national housing and care services provider;
• Project management of a merger between two smaller housing associations;
• Developing partnerships with NHS Trusts for the submission of joint tenders for substance misuse and prison based services;
• Managing the education, employment and training services and Arts Programme for a London based homelessness organisation;
• Project managing a customer insight research project for a group of seven district councils and a county council to inform the development of a new service offer and service model for older and vulnerable people;
• Developing successful fundraising strategies and business plans for small and medium sized charities in the green sector, social housing and care sectors, and preparing grant applications, including for the Big Lottery and other major grant givers and trusts, for areas such as digital inclusion, environmental and food growing initiatives, arts and employability initiatives.
• Establishing a four borough framework agreement for supported housing services, including project management of the tender process and liaison with procurement, legal and finance officers as well as providers and service users as part of the tender evaluation process.
