May 2016

Welcome to the first edition of CT Brief – Charities, which is specifically for trustees and senior staff in the charity sector. The publication was prompted by our growing work with a range of charities, large and small. As a result, we are alive to the increased levels of anxiety in the sector – whether around financial, reputational or regulatory issues – as well as the heightened political and media commentary in which charities appear to have become ‘fair game’ as headlines.

CT Brief sport and leisure fp

Welcome to CT Brief – Sport & Leisure! This is our first issue solely focused on sport and takes inspiration from Campbell Tickell’s extensive consultancy work across the not-for-profit sectors. We’ve been thinking about the challenges for sports and leisure organisations in raising the bar on governance standards – whether in response to the forthcoming code of governance announced in the new sports strategy, or protecting the sector’s reputation from high-profile governance failure.
